What a farce. I do not believe the immigration bill is wholly about the immigrants but more about this country’s economic future. I believe they are using the immigrants as a front. My initial thought when the bill to cut the senate debate short fell through thus sealing the demise of the bill for now was the president was going to have it out with those in his party who sunk his legislation. But now that I think about it he will probably circumvent congress like he always does when he wants to pass legislation or approve someone. Or he will do some arm twisting. Remember he never takes no for an answer. We shall see. In the article linked to above, take note of what the senator from Texas has to say about the bill. That’s interesting.
