Just a thought...

I mentioned the economic necessity of the immigration bill yesterday and how feel it is going to pass. Well, the immigration bill stalled in the senate yesterday. The economic circumstance still exists so sooner or later something is going to pass. But let’s look at the political implication of this. If I were Democrats I would be pretty happy. With their efforts for the Hispanic community and the Republicans efforts against the Hispanics to who would you pledge your vote? I don’t even think the Republicans realize what just happened. They’ve been had. Of course George Bush led the effort for immigration reform and that may give the Republicans a some merit but it will be interesting to see which party will get the major block of the Hispanic vote.
